Don’t expect Danny Davis to always do the right thing without first hearing from you! Give his office interns a call at (202) 225-5006 (most effective) or send an email message (less effective, but still good), and tell them you want Congressman Davis to take the following action on these important pieces of legislation:

Support H.R. 1207, the Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009.

Sample message: “I’m a constituent and I’m calling/emailing to thank Congressman Davis for cosponsoring H.R. 1207, the Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009. I’d now like him to do everything he can to see that this comes to roll call vote as a standalone bill and passes with its original language.”

Cosponsor H.R. 1800, the National Security Letters Reform Act of 2009.

This bill will remove some of the unconstitutional spy powers the Patriot Act still allows, and I’d be very happy to see Davis’ name added as a cosponsor.”
